First week in Italy

Finished my first week in Rome with Laura and Max! We've been taking a five hour Italian class every day so we haven't had much time take any photos or go sight seeing. The school we are with is a group of about 20 students, and all of our apartments are scattered all over Rome. Laura and I live in Rasella, which is really close to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps, and Max lives in Piramade.... Which looks like the slums of Rome. His apartment is huge with wifi and his own room while Laura and I share a windowless attic with one hanger to share.

During our first tour, this is a church we got kicked out of for dressing too "scandalous" even our professor got yelled at. We were wearing shorts and long sleeves....Laura was chased out for her shorts

After classes all of the girls that live in Rasella went to a beach called Anzio...took about an hour by train for only $3 euro






In Anzio the men don't bother you like they do in Rome, so we felt a lot safer here

Ended the week with a bar crawl around Rome, if you made it to the end you got a free shirt! It was twenty euros for two shots, a shirt, open bar and pizza! Our group started with 20 of us and only five lasted to receive the shirt...Laura Max Katy and me all stuck it out to the end to get it but woke up with a headache :(
