More rain

We took a fifteen minute train ride to the lake yesterday and as soon as we got there it started to rain. There were swans everywhere and cute little baby ducks swimming around so it was still worth the trip. I took a lot of pictures with my smaller camera and must have left it on the train, so I don't have any pictures to show from the lake. Hopefully I can find my camera, and I'll upload the pictures.

In Venice!

Last night Max led us to a restaurant that had so many different types of meat on their menu. Horse was one of them. I felt sick to my stomach after reading the english translation, the menu had young rooster, veal, pork, and horse. I ordered a pasta dish without meat last minute... not knowing that truffle is a type of mushroom. A couple of the students we went with were daring enough to try the different meats, but I was so happy no one at the table ordered horse. :)

This is our last day in Verona, I gave up on searching for the love letters I don't think they allow people to post them anymore. The letters were taped all along the walls of the tunnel and underneath Juliet's balcony, but they aren't there anymore.

We went to the top of the tower outside our hotel while it was thunderstorming and lightening, not our best idea...

So many steps

Max always turns into a photographer with my camera...me and laura trying to get along for five minutes to take a pic...

We were supposed to visit Milan and a castle in Verona today but the stupid rain stopped that. Not looking forward to going back to Rome, I have an exam next week. Italian is a lot harder than I thought, hopefully I don't fail.
