Just finished our first exam in our Italian class, we are all now completely fluent
To celebrate, we all went to Scholars Bar...which is an Irish pub but was the first bar we went to that didn't have 50 year old Italian men attacking us. It was student night, so everyone studying in Rome at any school got Tequila Sunrises for just four euros...normally a drink like that is ten euros! I have pictures but I'm going to add them in my next blog, I left my camera card at the apartment.
My mom came to visit me for the weekend! Her plane landed this morning so I took her to lunch and to see the Trevi Fountain before class. She already has started saying prego :)
For the weekend everyone is splitting up and doing their own thing, Max, Helen, Katy and Danielle are all going Pompeii, Katie is going to visit her friends family, and the others are going to Florence. Tonight my mom, Laura, and me are all leaving for Terracina, Capri, Naples, and the Almalfi Coast!! She got us a boat tour to see the blue and green grottos while we are in Capri....we just have to sit through one five hour class then we can go. It's going to be the longest five hours of my life.

I noticed you didn't mention how much you hate Rome this time! You must be getting use to it. I'm happy to hear you lived through the exams and had enough strength to party afterwords. Enjoy your weekend and mke sure you keep those creepy Italian men away from your mom
